Picture on right was taken
during Lodge 205 Fall '07 hike on the Town of Guilford's "Braemore
Property" trails. The weather was great, and the potluck dinner
following the hike was enjoyed by all.

Overview of The Braemore
Preserve:
Description: A 95-acre open space tract of land
purchased by the town of Guilford in 2000, for hiking, horseback riding, nature
study, etc… Braemore consists of both lowland (open meadow, open wetlands, pine
grove) & upland zones (deciduous forest, rising 200’ in a series of rock
bluffs).The trail system is based on
an existing logging road network.“Reid’s View” is reached via a spur off the ridge trail – a beautiful
